Urban design models
A selection of the many dozens of urban design models that I have made throughout the years. Mostly made of styrofoam / roofmate, paper and cardboard. Made employed by Urhahn | urban design & strategy.
Bog-wood table
Design for and construction of a table made with veneer from a partially fossilized, deep black oak tree (bog-oak) that has soaked in a swamp for 7000 years , on metal frame. Collaboration: Boely Hofstede (metal finish), Bas Janmaat (veneer press).
4-directions staircase
Design for a staircase. Four routes can be followed. For private client.
Samba stairs
Design for and construction of a double steep staircase (samba stairs) to a roof terrace, for a private client. The staircase is built in a space of 80 x 200 centimeter and is fully suitable for storage. In collaboration with Antonella Vitale.

Skewed staircase
Nomad Kit
Design for and construction of stackable and portable chest cabinet "Nomad Kit", with unique closure by sliding wooden board into a slot. Entry International Furniture Design Competition Asahikawa. Poplar plywood with Coromandel veneer (Macassar ebony). In collaboration with Antonella Vitale.
Various interior designs
Various interior designs for multiple clients. Such as the entrance hall for Publisher Boom, with wooden objects for a drink, which together form a tangram. Built by carpenter NN.
Book shelves
Design for and construction of a living room library for a private client. Dark red concrete plywood. Cooperation for the construction: Peter Klock.
Lampshade
Design and production of an 'urban design lampshade'. The shape of the lamp throws a shadow of a city skyline on the wall as a background for digital meetings.
